When you have to return home and take a cab to the Brussels airport, keep in mind that it can be very busy on the highways around Brussels. So be sure to leave on time. Maybe you can take a train to avoid the crowded highway. Major cities like Antwerp, Gent and Brugge can be reached by train from the airport.
