Belgium ShepardAn excellent guard dog: the Belgian Shepard.
The Belgium Shepard is a muscular and agile black dog. Its body is squarely proportioned and its coat is moderately long, very full and should be straight, not silky or wiry. The lower legs and face are covered with short hair. Sometimes they may have some white on the chest, chin or toes. The Belgium Shepard is the most popular of the Belgian sheepdogs. These dogs are very watchful and protective and have strong territorial instincts. They should be trained and socialized from an early age. But the training shouldn’t be harsh or they will become uncooperative. The Belgium Shepard is often used as an excellent police and guard dog. This dog can be very good with children if socialized well with them. It can be rather dominant toward other dogs and care should be taken when introducing this dog with small pets. The Belgium Shepard well is a very smart and obedient dog and should be treated as a member of the family.
